Roadster - Limited edition - 1 of 2
Thanks to a talented scale car enthusiast you are now able to add an extremely rare model to your collection.

This is the concept of how a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster could look when it will finally be introduced by Automobili Lamborghini SpA in the future ... you might not be able to park the real deal on your driveway just yet ... but we can offer you the next best thing : a 1/18 scale, highly detailed model that has been meticulously hand built to represent a V12 Roadster edition.
The process of creating a Roadster - Limited edition starts by obtaining a regular diecast model and carefully proceeding to take it apart completely so our craftsman can start with the first step : creating the open top look required to turn it into a Roadster ... because of the special shape of this specific model it becomes a time-consuming process to get the arch of the windshield just right and the angle on the roof section behind the seats to correspond with the air intakes ... but the result is stunning nevertheless :
Once the cutting and grinding is done it is time to start detailing the newly made Roadster, and this calls for some additional painting to be done, both airbrush and pencil is involved to get the look we wanted : mat black is added to parts of the bodywork to really set apart the Roadster conversion.
We didn't like the original dashboard cluster from the base model, so we've made a new one using one of our photos of the real dashboard found inside the actual car, it might not look too different at first glance, but it is more accurate, and that's what we wanted. Same thing with the pedals, we made our own pedals that look much more like the real ones used in this V12 ... accuracy first.
Add the custom made door sills with Roadster script, the personalized license plate and the details added to the exhaust pipe and we think the outside of this Roadster - Limited edition is about as good as it gets in 1/18 scale.
Since we've started with an original diecast model this is not a sealed resin model, as you can see from the photos the doors open, the engine cover still open, even the luggage cover up front can still be opened, the wheels turn and rotate ... this diecast has been turned into a high end scale model after countless hours of tedious work and painting. Because the modification of turning a closed version into a Roadster edition and adding all the details takes so much time and effort our artisan who makes these Roadster - Limited edition decided only 2 of these will be made in orange on a two tone color coded interior rolling on glossy black wheels.
Do note this model has the drilled look disc brakes and black brake calipers installed, a small, but very important detail, in this specific combination only two will be made, no more, we even supply a certificate with this model that shows this very low number ... we feel this car belongs in a good collection ... so don't let it slip through your hands
The car in these photos is the one of two made in orange over an orange and black interior with glossy black wheels, and it is the actual car you will receive, there has been absolutely no virtual post processing executed on these shots ... what you see is what you get, no tricks, no photoshop ... this is the one that will be shipped when you buy it.
